LAWRENCE, Kan. - National player of the year candidate Carolyn Davis showcased her talents in a pair of Kansas victories last week and as a result was named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, as selected by a media voting panel. [..]
LOS ANGELES – Kansas seniors Carolyn Davis and Angel Goodrich continue to collect preseason accolades, as the Jayhawk duo was named to the John R. Wooden Award Women’s Preseason Top-30 List Thursday announced by the Los Angeles Athletic Club.
Kansas is one of only seven schools with multiple honorees on the preseason list. Davis and Goodrich are also both candidates on the Wade Trophy Watch List and were both rated among the top-five players in the nation at their respective position by espnW. [..]
